What settlings are available for the “Task Timer” screen?

  • Indicate whether the Active Time or the Total Time should be used to allocate the task time records to the corresponding Task’s Actual Effort attribute.
  • Indicate whether the tracked Active and Inactive Times should be calculated with rounding, and based on which Task Time Rounding time interval.
How does the “Task Time Rounding” works?
  • Let’s consider that the Task Time Rounding time interval has been set to “05 Minutes” and the tracked Active and Inactive Times were 18:15 mins and 07:15 mins respectively. In this particular case, the Active Time will be rounded up to 20:00 mins, and the Inactive Time will be rounded down to 05:00 mins.
  • The tracked Active Time and Inactive Time values will therefore be rounded to the closest multiple of the Task Time Rounding time interval.
What settings are available for “iCloud Connectivity“?
  • Enable / disable the iCloud Feature – This ensures all local database record changes are saved and kept in synch with the iCloud remote database.
  • Enable / disable the iCloud Alerts Feature – This ensures you get notifications about eventual iCloud processing errors (e.g. Network Connectivity Issues).
